Have Your Baby Shower at Wonder Time
Here’s the plan for a baby shower with us at Wonder Time:
Part of the invitation will include instructions for how people can get their gifts to our venue- either having it shipped directly, or dropping off gifts during business hours. All gifts received will be inventoried and recorded with name and address of the person(s) giving it.
Here is the typical baby shower flow:
- We start off with a 15-20 minute HD 3D 4D ultrasound- we will also record baby’s heartbeat and give you a heartbeat bear/animal.
- After your ultrasound session, we get you settled in your throne in front of our beautifully decorated backdrop. Open your gifts as your guests partake in some light refreshments (cheese and crackers, chips and dip, creme puffs or cupcakes).
- We give you a thank you card for each gift- already stamped and addressed! Each present will be noted inside the card- just add your own message, sign and send!
- We help you load up your presents, and you are on your way home!!
Recent study eases anxiety about ultrasounds and autism
A new article about ultrasound safety, in particular how ultrasound and autism are not related. It is always good to know, and to confirm with new studies, that ultrasound is safe. Especially when performed by a trained and registered sonographer. If you would like to read more about ultrasound safety, in particular 3D ultrasound safety, please check out our prior blog post.
Here at Wonder Time, we minimize exposure as much as we can… utilizing frequent breaks, change of position, and machine settings. If at any time during your scan you feel the need to adjust your position or take a break, please let us know. You are in charge here!
Can we really tell gender at 13 weeks?
Lots of people are in disbelief when I tell them that we can determine gender at 13 weeks with ultrasound. It’s understandable. Everyone knows someone who was told the wrong gender on an early scan. What I can tell you is that I have 100% accuracy. Every single baby (over 200 babies in all) that I have scanned at 13 weeks…I have correctly determined the gender.
Why isn’t everyone doing gender ultrasounds at 13 weeks? I can’t be sure. All I can tell you is that you have to know the method, have impeccable skill, and have an ultrasound machine that has good resolution. In order to offer it, you would have to know for sure that it works.
At Wonder Time LLC, we guarantee our gender determination for the price of the session. Yet, it’s more than that on the line, isn’t it? My business has a reputation, as do I, and I want you to always have confidence and satisfaction that I have made the correct call. If I had ever been wrong in the 200 that came before, I wouldn’t have the confidence to offer gender determination.
I love being a part of the excitement of gender reveals and helping you plan them. If you want to know as soon as possible, just by using ultrasound, make an appointment today!

3D Ultrasound Levels Up
Have you seen the difference between standard 3D ultrasound and HD ultrasound?
If you have ever seen a 3D fetal sonogram, you are familiar with the prospect of seeing your baby’s features before birth. New technology has emerged, known as HD ultrasound. HD ultrasound takes the 3D image and transforms it. Translucency of the skin, play of light and shadow, all of these factors come together to produce an incredibly realistic picture. The difference between 3D and HD is immediately obvious, with the HD image conveying much more pleasing imagery. Check out our gallery for more examples of HD ultrasound.
