What is the newest and best in 3D Ultrasound?
Some people call it 5D Ultrasound, or HD Ultrasound.
Both terms mean the same thing. It’s a software package on the ultrasound unit that allows for more lifelike rendering of the baby’s face.
Different ultrasound manufacturers have developed their own form of HD or 5D ultrasound. One of the most popular and high-end versions of this is found in GE’s Voluson series. At Wonder Time, we have a GE Voluson E6, with HD Live software. It is one of the best ultrasound units for OB, with some of the most advanced HD (5D) imaging.
